How we work:
We are a mobile unit, we travel to you. There are no travel fees for parties
within a 10 mile radius outside of the city of Brentwood Ca. (our main
location), a fuel / travel fee of $0.75 cents per mile for each mile we do
travel 10 miles outside of the city of Brentwood will be charged in each direction to and
from your party.
We arrive before your party
starts to set up before the guests start arriving. Usually we are ready to start
within 10 minutes of the guests arrival. (See our step by step
page)
Please make sure there is
space either in your driveway or in front of your house (or at the event) for
our StuffedBearPartyTruck and Trailer (about 40' in length a total or 2 car spots). The
stuffing machine(s) is 200 lbs. and for the 15"
parties we bring hundreds of animals and outfits and the display rack. So the closer
we can get to the party the better.
If your home has multiple or
steep stairs please advice us of this when you book your party. We may need to
use and reserve a different stuffing machine or talk about machine / rack placement in
the garage or yard, patio etc.
A complete party consists of
1 animal and outfit (or tee shirt) per child and the stuffing of an animal or doll. This takes
between 1- 2 hours typically depending on the age and amount of children.
An average party of 20-30
children will have 3-4 Stuffed Bear Party employees at least attending and helping out.
We ask that a minimum number
of children be 6 within the 10 mile radius of Brentwood.
Beyond the 10 mile radius we require a minimum of 12 children.
We do require a
min $50 deposit* to reserve your party
date either via credit card or check at the
time of booking. If you cancel your
appointment we require a minimum of 8
days right to cancel before the party
date to receive your full
deposit back! If the party was canceled
within the 8 day period, your deposit is
non returnable or transferable.
Stuffed Bear Party only
charges for the children in attendance or by number of animals/outfits sold. So
if you booked the party for 15 kids and only 9 showed up, you only pay for that
9. (minimum of 6 children is required (see above))
Stuffed Bear Party tries to
keep a large selection of animals & outfits in stock. Due to this we may only stock 6-20
of each kind at a time. Our stock is constantly rotating so we may not have the
same animals at all times. If you have a particular interest in a certain type
of animal, please notify us at booking. We will make every attempt to satisfy
your order.
On occasion certain
animals may go out of stock from our supplier or on backorder. Should this happen, Stuffed Bear
Party reserves the right to substitute another animal in it's place.
We reserve the right to
refuse service if we see fit.
* $50 deposit for parties 6 - 20
$75 deposit for parties 21- 30
$100 deposit for parties 31 - 40
$125 deposit for parties 41 - 50
10% deposit required for parties over 50
